01. Part (Norway)
This contract is between LOCAL PRESENCE .NO (Lp), a part of the Norwegian Domain company Active Data Norge - ADATA.NO (NO Company ID number 883428722 - Norid Registry ID number REG619-NORID), and the client (you). ADATA.NO has been an accredited .NO Registrar since 2003 at the official NORID Registry. Terms will further follow the national law of Norway and the terms stated by Adata and Norid.
02. Service description
LocalPresence.No offers and provides registration and transfer service for .no domains. This includes a rent service only, and not legal ownership in accordance with the Norid rules. Clients confirm to have read and understood these terms. In addition Lp offers free DNS admin and free support for customers within the customer network. Terms will further follow the national law of Norway and the terms stated by Adata and Norid.
03. Responsibility
LocalPresence.No will give free information service and support to registered customers. Various incidents (tech, supplier, law changes, force major) and genereal changes from other organizations/registries is not considered Lp responsibility, in any way - legal or financially. When local and internal updates are planned, Lp will inform about changes in good time. Customers and clients within the Lp network must provide correct contact information to Lp. Terms will further follow the national law of Norway and the terms stated by Adata and Norid.
04. Domain-Holder Rights and Duties
LocalPresence.No customers have user rights for their .no domains, within the rules of Norid, Adata and Norwegian laws. The domain is rented from Lp for use within the rules/laws mentioned. It is not allowed to transfer domain rights to other persons/organizations without the permit - and new contact info provided - to the Lp registry. It is further not allowed to transfer the domain to another registry, but must first be cancelled from the Lp registrar service in accordance to the Lp terms. Customers and clients violting these terms and rules, will meet closeure of the services in accordance to this. Registration or renewal fees will not be returned. Terms will further follow the national law of Norway and the terms stated by Adata and Norid.
05. Renewal & Cancellation
Customers will receive renewal email up to 60 days before domain reg month. This will contain info about domain names, amount, due date and link for payment. Cancellation must be done 30 days before reg month. Registration order payments are non-refundable. Payment data will NOT be saved by Lp, and must be provided through ordinary card/Paypal forms described in the renewal links. No payment of services within the invoice due/limit dates given, will terminate the agreement, and the domain can be cancelled or transferred to other parties without notice. Terms will further follow the national law of Norway and the terms stated by Adata and Norid.
06. Legal rules and End of Service
All .no domains must follow the rules of Norid (see link) and Norwegian law. Clients who receive legal inquieries or complaints because of domain usage, domain name rights, legal conflicts of any kind etc., must inform LocalPresence immediately. Customers and clients violting these terms and rules, will meet closeure of the services in accordance to this. The domain will in such cases be cancelled without further notice. Registration or renewal fees will not be returned. Terms will further follow the national law of Norway and the terms stated by Adata and Norid.
07. Resale & Transfer
Resale of .no domains under the Lp network is prohibited. Contact LocalPresence.No if domains are going to be transferred/sold to another client. In order to avoid that LP's local presence dedicated/private org. number is used by another company/registry, the LP client has to provide a new org. number, to ensure the transfer to this org. number. This transfer has to be done by Local Presence at a standard fee. Customers and clients violting these terms and rules, will meet closeure of the services in accordance to this. Registration or renewal fees will not be returned. Terms will further follow the national law of Norway and the terms stated by Adata and Norid.
08. Third parties
Other parties involved with the domain under the Lp network, must follow all the rules and terms in this contract. 09. Confidenciality and GDPR
All customer information is secured and protected in accordance to GDPR. No other parties not connected to Lp will use the information for third party commerce or other activities. Terms will further follow the national law of Norway and the terms stated by Adata and Norid.
