Transfer your already registered .NO domain to Local Presence (LP Adata)
Auth-Info (transfer auth-code)
In order to transfer your domain(s), LP Adata always needs an Auth-Info (transfer code or authorization code for the Norwegian Registry, NORID). You obtain this code from your current registrar (or via your contral panel). When ordering through the Transfer-Order, you write this code in the order form field (Transfer Auth-Code).
If your registrar needs a trustee organization
Many trustee companies demand that you provide the new trustee organization (that LP Adata provides) before sending you the Auth-Info. This is normal, as you are using their own trustee organization in Norway. If this is the case, this is what you have to do:
* Order the domain as a 'transfer' in the form below here.
* Important: Write in the 'Transfer Auth-Code'-field: "NEW TRUSTEE"
* Finish the order and pay for the service.
After receiving the order, LP Adata will set up a formal NORID-document, egenerklaring.zip, and send this to you. Together with this document there will be info about the new trustee organization in Norway (included address, contact person, email, ID-number/Organization Number in Norway, documents for the legal organization/trustee from the central ID Registry in Norway, The Brønnøysundregistrene).
Important - Send us the Auth Info
After you provide your supplier with this information (new trustee-ID and egenerklaring.zip), they will make the domain-transfer.
IMPORTANT: Your old registrar must then send you the Auth-Info. You MUST send this Auth-Info to LP Adata (firmapost@adata.no)! Then we will be able to take over the official registrar status of the domain with NORID.
